Make sure you hydrate properly. During winter, the body needs substantial water intake to allow it to thermo-regulate. Due to the low temperatures, our system makes considerable efforts to maintain its optimal temperature, as well as the normal functioning of the internal organs. So do not neglect water consumption, which should reach at least 8 glasses of water per day.

Do not give up the daily exercise routine. Active movement is essential to maintain a high level of health. If cold does not allow it, your daily training session should be held indoors or in the gym, but do not give up physical activity by using the excuse of low temperatures.

Eat more hot soups. This way, you regulate your digestive system, stay warm and help your body maintain an optimal level of fluids, as well as a proper intake of essential nutrients.

Quit sweets (and sugar in general), as you will certainly enter the spring with a few extra pounds.
